The Tiner Family

I had the honor of photographing Amanda's family.

This is her brother, Kris, and his family.
Her two nieces
And James and Amanda
I haven't had a chance to develop very many. But these are a few of my favorites.

Two Brighter Fall Desktops

My handsome(and photo resistant)boy!

Nathan will let you take a picture of him when he wants you to. So I've had a hard time getting a good one to put in a frame. I got lucky and I have 2 that I like.

Here are some fun ones, he has many great expressions

School Pictures? No!

We took a little trip to Hart park to get some pictures of Teresa. Her school pictures are coming up next week and instead of depending on a mediocre picture to update her, I chose to do it myself.

We had a good time, we took some pictures, fed the ducks and had a picnic lunch. All before it got too hot :) I'll post more pictures on the family blog

(these have not been developed yet)

Nathan posed on the rock, so I couldn't resist
Jonathan took this one
That's my girl!

Family Pictures

I took my first family pictures yesterday. I've taken pictures of my relatives before, but never like a real photography session. This was a lot of fun. We went out to Hart Park and I walked around with the family taking pictures of them. It's a cute family, so pretty easy to photograph. And it helps that they were relaxed and had an idea of what they wanted (the mother also likes to do photography). I took over 100 pictures and about 40 of them are worth keeping. I know that sounds like a small amount, but I'm happy if 30% of the pictures I take are worth keeping, Not all of these are of the family, I did some of the 3 kids and some of each individually and some were just playful pictures, nothing to frame and put on your wall, but definately keepers :)

I'd love the chance to do it again. Practice makes perfect right?! Or at least better ;)

(I can't post any pictures of the family for privacy reasons)
But here's one of their little girl chasing my little boy(they are friends)

Our Garden

We can't have a big garden this year since we're working on the yard.
So instead we have 2 pots with tomatoes and the kids are each growing different types of sunflowers.
I'm posting it here because I really love the picture

Desktop Wallpaper

I take my wallpaper very seriously. It's something I see all the time, so I want it to be something I like. Lately it's been something I created. It started with a Kauai picture. Right now I have a beach scene from Morro Bay. But it's time for another change, so Nathan and I made it our project. Here are my two choices.

They are just flowers from my yard

I think the daffodils win, for now :)
