This is a picture I'm proud of. I love the aperture effect. I had just recieved a new lens and was anxious to play around. I love that it captured so much of my son's personality.

A Memory

This is in response to the gallery prompt on Sticky Fingers. The prompt is A Memory. I didn't know what I was going to do until today. Thinking of memories I have of a loved one who passed away Sunday. It seemed suitable to post pictures of a memory we share, our family reunions. We have had many reunions, as far back as I can remember. It just happens the last one we had was a super fun Geocache that this dear uncle set up for us. Such a close family, and this year another reunion is planned for November, but before we meet for Thanksgiving we will all be gathering Wednesday morning to say good bye to this amazing man.
This is my aunt(his wife) my uncle, a cousin and my dad singing - another tradition at the reunions
My uncle talking with his big brother(my dad)
These were take 2 years ago after his first stem cell replacement and chemo
The pictures aren't very high quality, it was dark, so a high ISO was needed.

Wildflowers

We took the family to Monterey for a couple days over Spring Break. The drive on 46 was very beautiful. We had those perfect fluffy clouds with green rolling hills and wildflowers. I got a few good shots from the car.

This one is my favorite, but doesn't show many of the flowers...

So here's one with flowers, but it doesn't do it justice. There were yellow, orange and purple patches all over the hills sides. Teresa said it looked like yellow paint was spilled on them

Pictures Nathan took

These aren't my pictures. They are some Nathan took with my camera. He's always had a thing for the camera. He got one for Christmas this year, and he thinks it's so cool. If we have any gems I'll post them.

I love how he experimented with the camera being on the ground

It's just a lamp, but I like it

This is my favorite. Not thrilled his sister left her shoes in the walkway, but it made for a great picture ;)

And just a cute one of Seesa from Nathan's point of view

I know they aren't very interesting, but I think it's funny to see what little kids take pictures of.
